Graphic Organizers in PDF Format
August 1st, 2009 | by Suki |I’m big on visual tools that help both children and adults ‘think’. My father introduced me to mindmaps eons ago and they helped me get through the dreaded A/Levels, then college and then finally my master’s degree. Today I use them for all kinds of things - organizing a trip overseas, planning the details of a baby shower or even sketching out the outline for a new educational game. But I digress.
These graphic organizers from Holt are a great way for teachers to introduce students to the idea of organizing their thoughts in a visual and fun way. They’ve got graphic organizers to help you generate and organize details, identify the main idea and draw conclusions, compare and contrast, map out cycles and processes and many more!
They’re in PDF format (which I personally love) and if nothing are a great starting point for you to even make your own graphic organizers using your favorite applications like Powerpoint or Google docs.
